dedication to social justice
Black lives not only matter, but are precious and valuable.
LGBTQIA+ people deserve safety and equal rights.
No human being is illegal.
Everyone should have access to high quality mental health care.
As a white, cis, hetero woman, I understand that I will never be done understanding and undoing the harm my people have done to this world.
As a social worker, I have a responsibility to advocate for social justice according to the social work code of ethics, as well as my own personal value system.
I moved to Chicago after graduating from Earlham College in 2011.
My husband Lucas and I married in 2018. He is a Respiratory Therapist at Rush Hospital.
In my spare time, I love to play tennis, watch RuPaul’s Drag Race, and eat copious amounts of chocolate.
